Customer: Oras Group
Event: Oras Group 80 vuotta
Date: 12.–13.6. 2025
Location: Rauma
Oras’s 80th anniversary celebration combined the warmth of a family gathering with the brand experience of an international design house.
May 1945, Rauma. Erkki Paasikivi founds Oras, soon to be known for its faucets and plumbing fixtures. Over the decades, the company grows into an international design house, yet its fundamentals remain unchanged: design, product development and quality have secured Oras a truly exceptional position in everyday Finnish life.
June 2025, the same place. The owning family celebrates Oras’s 80-year journey together with employees, customers and partners. At the centre of the story stands another 80-year-old: Pekka Paasikivi, the founder’s eldest son, who served as Chairman of the Board of Oras Invest until 2018.
Oras is a family business, a fact that shows both in its company culture and in the garden party produced by Wolttigroup. The very fact that 150 corporate guests travelled to Rauma speaks not only of a successful invitation process, but also of Oras’s standing in the Finnish business landscape.
The red colour was introduced into Oras’s brand identity in the 1970s. For the anniversary in 2025, it became the theme, reflected stylishly in every detail—from venue décor to the hosts’ fashion accessories.
In addition to the anniversary, Rauma also marked the opening of a new production line. The factory setting provided a welcome challenge for Wolttigroup: the atmosphere and setting of a garden party had to be built from scratch.
After the factory tour, guests moved into a celebration tent to enjoy a festive buffet. On Thursday, the space filled with corporate guests, and on Friday it was the employees’ turn. The presence of the owning family was meaningful both to the guests and to themselves. The atmosphere was warm yet dignified—people felt it, and they enjoyed it.
Under the skilled guidance of host Katja Ståhl, traditional speeches and reminiscences turned into engaging conversations. On stage shone the owners, the current leadership and the company’s employees. The journey through time was accompanied by music from different decades, visual art and a video produced by Wolttigroup. The Red Celebration House Band, formed especially for the occasion, entertained on both nights with vocalists Jepa Lambert and Lauri Mikkola.
Oras’s celebration is a prime example of how people are always at the heart of a successful corporate event. Beyond unforgettable festivities, such occasions reflect the essence of the company itself. When Oras celebrates as a family, it means one big family embracing all of its stakeholders.
